Real food, smaller plates,
no guesswork

Mealful Kitchen3 min read

Mealful Kitchen started with a problem I ran into myself: I knew what I was supposed to eat. I had no idea how much.

I use peptides. And like a lot of people on this path, I found that the hardest part wasn't willpower β€” it was arithmetic. My appetite dropped off a cliff, and suddenly every recipe I'd ever cooked was written for someone else. A recipe calls for a whole salmon fillet and a pound of potatoes. I could eat maybe a third of that. So do I cook the whole thing and throw most of it away? Eyeball it and hope? Do the fraction math in my head at 6pm while I'm already hungry and tired?

Every recipe site assumed I had a normal appetite. None of them assumed I might want a quarter of what they'd written. That gap is why this exists.

Food, not lectures

We talk about ingredients and portions. We don't hand out medical advice or tell you how to feel about your body.

What we're not

We're not doctors, dietitians, or your prescriber. Nothing here is medical or nutritional advice, and we're not affiliated with any medication manufacturer. We're a recipe site β€” a good one, we hope β€” and the medical side of your journey belongs with the people qualified to handle it.

We also try not to be preachy. There's plenty of content out there ready to tell you what your body should look like. This isn't that. It's just food that fits the appetite you actually have right now.

Where we're headed

Right now there are 145 recipes, all with adjustable portions and honest macros. We're adding more, along with guides that answer the questions people are actually asking β€” what to eat the first week, what sits well on a rough day, how to get enough fiber without overdoing it.

Got a request? If there's a recipe you wish existed, or something about eating on GLP-1 that nobody's written about well, we'd genuinely like to hear it.
